How the SuperConference Works
There are three principle components of profitability:
- Marketing - establishing an image and bringing in the money
- Operations - determining how much of that money you get to keep
- Leadership - creating an organization that handles #1 and #2
The SuperConference promise of increased cash flow can be achieved by focusing on any one of these areas (Just imagine what you could do by addressing all three ... but more on that later.)
To provide the necessary focus, you will choose a major in one of these three areas and will spend eleven full hours of concentrated study in your major subject.
The School of Marketing is directed by Kamron Karington. He is author of The Black Book, generally regarded as the marketing bible of the pizza industry. Kamron's powerful seminars are usually standing room only. Pizzeria owners around the world seek his advice on how to quickly explode sales ... and many pay him $5,000 (per day) to develop a private "competitor attack" plan.
The School of Operations is headed up by Big Dave Ostrander. He has been nicknamed "The Pizza Doctor" by his peers for his ability to diagnose, prescribe, treat and cure almost any problem a pizzeria could possibly face. Since he sold his own pizzeria (after wiping out most of his competitors), he has delivered hundreds of marketing and management seminars, all to rave reviews.
The School of Leadership is the realm of Bill Marvin, The Restaurant Doctor. Bill works with good restaurants that want to be great ... and with managers who want to get their lives back! He is the creative force behind the CEO Project (Creating the Effortless Organization), a revolutionary program that is shifting the thinking of independent operators in some very profitable directions.
Why Not Choose All Three?
We know that it is difficult to choose only one of these majors, but the singular focus on one area for an extended period of time is a critical part of what makes the SuperConference so powerful ... and so different ... and why we are willing (and able) to guarantee a 50% boost in your bottom line!
Compared to the 60-minute sessions you have attended at Pizza Expo and other industry trade shows, the depth of knowledge and personal coaching offered in the SuperConference is a real advantage. Even if you could spend 11 hours in each of the three Schools, it would be more information than you could absorb in one sitting anyway.
The obvious answer is either to enroll key people from your company in each of the three majors or tackle your primary area of interest this year and come back next year to work on your next most important issue. The secret to increasing profit is not what you LEARN but in what you can IMPLEMENT ... and sometimes less is more.
Whichever major you select, the total focus of the Pizza Insight SuperConference will be to provide YOU with the most practical, up-to-date advice available ... on topics and programs that we only address in this depth with private consulting clients ... or at the SuperConference.
The SuperConference Will Truly Be a Clinic
We will do everything we can to be sure that things will be different around your place as a result of your spending some time with us.
- You will focus on a limited number of ideas that can have an immediate (positive) impact on your bottom line.
- You will explore these ideas in depth and come away with detailed "how to" information on how to implement what you have learned.
- You will walk step-by-step through the implementation process for each idea and, where possible, actually get started on it.
- You will have all the time you need to be sure your every question is answered before moving on.
- You will learn how to keep these programs running -- often without your direct personal involvement -- once you get back to your restaurant.
What Will NOT Happen at the SuperConference?
Do not let your past experience with other conferences color your thinking about what to expect at the SuperConference.
- There will be no boot camp-like sales pitches that make you wonder if the presenters are really giving you all the information you need, or just delivering an infomercial on their "stuff." It is great to have access to resources -- and we certainly have them -- but you will not be relentlessly flogged to buy products.
- There will no recycling of old ideas. In fact, most of what we expect to cover is typically reserved for our private consulting clients. Some of the ideas may not be totally new to you -- we would be surprised if they were -- but we never have enough time go into this depth in traditional seminars.
- The SuperConference will be a "No Fluff" zone. The material we discuss will be tailored for experienced operators who are ready to kick their operations up a notch or two. There are places to discuss Pizzeria 101 ... but the SuperConference is not one of them.
Next we will look at what each of these majors has to offer ... with a bit of spirited debate about which School really holds the secret to achieving a 50% increase in cash flow in just 120 days. (Hint: They all do!) But you will be enlightened, educated -- and perhaps even amused -- by the arguments that each Dean makes for his particular curriculum.
